What can my donation do?
Your donation will help to provide online education to women and girls from Afghanistan who are denied their right to an education. Our online classes provide high quality education to hundreds of students, offering a vital lifeline to the outside world. Lessons bring joy to students' lives and offer a beacon of hope to hundreds of women and girls who denied their rights.
Your support will make a huge difference to the lives of the women and children we support. Where will my money go?We rely entirely on donations from a handful of supporters and UK Trusts and Foundations to keep the schools running.
As a newly formed charity, with only two paid staff members, we do not currently have the capacity and infrastructure available to manage online donations. We are working with our trusted partners, Children on the Edge; a UK registered Charity who have been supporting Afghanistan Education Action (AEA) since 2022, to help us develop our work, and register as a UK Charity in 2024. They will process and manage any donation you make to Afghanistan Education Action, free of charge. All monies received after transaction costs will go towards the work of AEA. |
A message from our Founder.
We, at Afghanistan Education Action are immensely proud of the achievements of Herat Online School and International School thus far and are grateful for the support we have received.
As we look to the future, we seek partnerships and assistance with organisations who share our values and want to support us, to make the International School a success, offering more Afghanistani students a well-structured and internationally recognized educational pathway.

What makes Herat Online School truly special for me was the happiness and inner peace I found within its digital walls. |
